Ohio Earthworks

There are incredible mysteries sitting in plain sight across Ohio: ancient earthworks built thousands of years ago with crazy mathematical precision and clear connections to the landscape and sky. I believe the people who built them understood something we need to recover.

One of my favorite pieces about them is Brad Lepper’s article on the Newark Earthworks, especially the final section, “The Machinery of Ritual”.
